Quality Assurance (QA) Officer / Specialist required for exciting new role with a leading life science company in Livingston - open to people from QC and manufacturing!

SRG is working with a leading life science company - as a result of their continued success they are looking to hire a QA Specialist to undertake challenging and varied role within their Quality team. Working as part of a small team the role would be suited to someone with either previous QA experience or with GMP manufacturing/production or QC experience and with high attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, monitor, improve and maintain procedures to ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Perform activities and reviews in accordance with relevant Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Perform batch review duties in accordance with relevant procedures, trend and report data.
  • Identify, investigate and report quality issues.
  • Participation in cross-functional projects, providing QA guidance and training.
  • Develop, implement and monitor Continuous Improvement activities.
  • Perform internal and external audits, support in third-party audits.
  • Implement and maintain Quality Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements:

  • You will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject or have previous relevant experience.
  • Ideally you will have previous QA (quality assurance) experience however applications will also be considered from those in QC or manufacturing.
  • GMP experience in essential.
  • You must have excellent attention to details, organisation and communication skills and be an effective and adaptable team player.
