The terrible truth about harm of bread is opened

A group of scientists undertook to investigate how bread affects human health by the example of two different varieties: white and whole grains. Thanks to this, it became possible to answer the question whether the bread harms the health, and whether the results depend on the bread variety.

The study was answered by Israeli scientists, their works were summed up in a relevant article published in the journal Cell Metabolism. A group of 20 people was selected. Half of the people used white bread for two weeks, while the other ate whole-grain bread. Scientists calculated the daily caloric value of the bread they used and increased it by 2.5 times. The study was aimed at studying the general effect of bread on the body and finding the answer to the question of whether different varieties show different effects.

Every day, participants measured biological indicators such as the mineral content in the blood and the total glucose level. Based on the results obtained, the following conclusions were drawn. Moderate consumption of bread is not capable of harming a person's health. Also, averaged studies (all changes in parameters in individual people were averaged for the whole group) showed that, on the whole, the parameters of the organism are not correlated with the sort of bread consumed.

However, scientists note that individual participants still had small changes in the parameters of the body, depending on what kind of bread they used. It is noted that these changes were not unanimously positive or negative for everyone, depending on the type of bread. Therefore, everything is individual. Specifically, the chosen diet can lead to positive results for one person and completely different for another.
