Woman Was Stopped By Officer For Speeding, 7 Days Later, She Received Something In The Mail That Brings Her To Tears

NO NAMES

Sometimes kindness & inspiration comes in the most random of places. This is a story of exactly that.

A woman began crying once she was stopped by a cop who pulled her over due to speeding. 7 days later, she was surprised by what she received in the mail. This is what she wrote on Facebook.

Last week I was pulled over for going 65 in a 55. The officer took my license and registration. While I sat and waited I was reminiscing about my dad like always lately. The officer returned to my car and said its your lucky day, we were born on the same day and year, slow down and have a good day. I smiled and said thank you. He walked away and I broke down and started crying. Thinking he was back in his car. He surprised me and tapped on my window asking if I was ok. I told him I was sad, I just lost my dad. He said take a minute and breath. He talked

to me a minute then helped me back into traffic. Today I received this beautiful card in the mail.

Thank you Deputy Dan Hill #227 of St. Clair County Sheriffs Department

This was what she saw.

This is what what the officer wrote inside.

It says:

My condolence on the loss of your father. I’m sure he was a great man who loved his family. I pray that your tears of sadness becomes tears of joy in remembering his legacy.

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more. Neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore; for the former things have passed away.”

Revelation 21:4

St. Clair County Sheriff’s Department

Like so many police officers do, this officer proved that the person behind the badge is a heart as big as any.
