Heat center Hassan Whiteside will begin a rehab process on his injured knee, the team announced Thursday.
Miami will be putting their star center through a 1-2 week strength and conditioning program with hopes of fixing the issues Whiteside has been experiencing after he suffered a bone bruise in the team's season opener.

Heat head coach Erik Spoelstra has been on a different page than Whiteside, saying the big man's injury had not gotten worse. The two sides appears to be on the same side now, although Whiteside has already missed six this season and could miss at least the next five.
