The NFL is reviews a video of Lions linebacker Tahir Whitehead stepping on the leg of Bears left tackle Charles Leno to determine whether it was done on purpose or not.
A video was posted by the Chicago Tribune Tuesday that showed Whitehead stepping over other players and step on Leno's leg. Leno was on the ground after a 4-yard run by running back Jordan Howard when the incident occured.

However, a league spokesperson was adament to ESPN that the NFL reviews every play from all games, and that Whitehead was not being singled out.
Whitehead's wife, Shannon, disputed the claims that he stepped on Leno on purpose, saying Tahir would "never intentionally attempt to hurt another player."

Lions coach Jim Caldwell also saw the video, and said he didn't believe Whitehead intentionally stepped on Leno.
