No. 5 Michigan suffered its second loss of the season Friday.

The Wolverines fell short to Iowa 74-59, and their 3-point shooting played a huge role in their downfall.

Michigan only connected on eight of its 32 shots from deep. The Hawkeyes made six on less than half as many attempts.

Iowa was aggressive on the glass all night, outrebounding Michigan by 12.

Ignas Brazdeikis and Jordan Poole paced the Wolverines with 16 points apiece.

Luka Garza led the Hawkeyes with 19 points and eight rebounds on 8-of-12 shooting.

Michigan's three-game winning streak was halted with the loss. Its next game will come against Rutgers on Tuesday.
