College Football Top 25 Rankings - 2018 Preseason Coaches Poll Led by Alabama, Clemson & Ohio State

The preseason coaches poll has been released for the 2018 college football season. While there are a few surprises in the rankings, it’s not a surprise that Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State led the way as the top college football teams. The Alabama Crimson Tide start the season as the top-ranked team in the country after winning the National Championship last season. Clemson comes in at number two and Ohio State comes in at three despite Urban Meyer placed on administrative leave. Those were the only three teams to receive 1st place votes. The Big Ten, SEC and Big 12 both have 5 teams ranked, with all five Big Ten teams ranking in the Top 15. The Big 12 having five teams is a surprise, with Oklahoma State the last team ranked.
