Barbara Eden as "Jeannie"
I Dream of Jennie was a TV show about a female genie, ironically named "Jeannie" and her master "Major Tony Nelson" that aired from 1965 until 1970. The whole point or gag of the show itself were "Jeannie's" attempts to make "Nelson's" life better which almost always ended in some sort of theatrical catastrophe.
Barbara Eden
Barbara Eden played the role of "Jeannie" who was able to enchant millions of fans around the world with her million-dollar smile. Eden is now 85 years old and is still the querky blonde we've come to know and love. Even after the show ended, she was still very active in the industry. She was last seen in the 2014 movie Army Wives and even worked as a voice actor in 2016.

After a failed landing attempt, the astronaut "Major Anthony ´Tony´ Nelson" is stranded on a desert island where he finds a purple bottle. Following the now classic Hollywood cliché, "Nelson" rubs the bottle only to find that a genie, funnily named "Jeannie", lives inside. As thanks for freeing her from her cage, she is obliged to grant the major anything he wants which leads to a ton of magic-filled shenanigans. "Jeannie" quickly falls in love with "Nelson" and they even get married at the end of the show.

Even after the end of the show, "Tony" and "Jeannie" still remained good friends. Later, Hagman landed another role alongside Eden in the smash hit Dallas as the famous "J.R. Erwing". Sadly, Hagman died from cancer related causes in 2012.
The "I Dream of Jeannie" Cast
"Tony" wasn´t the only one involved in the genie's shenanigans. His best friend "Roger Healey" as well as his senior officer "Dr. Alfred E. Bellows" often caused problems for the magical beauty. "Roger" is the only one who knows about "Jeannie's" powers and therefore, in return for keeping her secret, helps the young bachelor with his love life. The psychologist "Dr. Bellows" is very fascinated by "Tony's" strange behavior, thanks to "Jeannie", and hopes to find out his secret sooner or later.
Bill Daily and Barabra Eden
Bill Daily, who played the charming "Roger" unfortunately passed away in September 2018! After playing the astronaut "Roger Healey", the comedian starred in a number of Hollywood movies as well as a numerous sitcoms. He was married three times and is the father of three children. He was last seen the movie "Horrorween" in 2010. He was 90 years old at the time of his death.

The passionate film and theater actor Hayden Rorke (far right) unfortunately passed away in 1987. At the age of 76, he was diagnosed with multiple melanoma and died soon after. Rorke starred in a number of films alongside Hollywood legends such as Erol Flynn and Doris Day. He also starred in numerous cult TV shows such as Bonanza and Love Boat. He was never married but he still had a long term relationship with producer Jus Adidiss.
