Seahawks' McDowell reports to camp, placed on NFI list

Pro Sports Daily

The Seattle Seahawks have made the official determination on defensive tackle Malik McDowell and his injuries.

After McDowell arrived in Seattle on Tuesday, according to head coach Pete Carroll, the rookie has finally reported to training camp, to undergo his physicals. But, for now, no football.

McDowell officially counts as a member of the team's roster but has been moved over to the non-football injury (NFI) list, where Dion Jordan currently resides, as well. His placement there means he won't be playing football for the foreseeable future.
