Many leaders may be extremely offended when being accused of being biased in the workplace, yet the truth is, they all are.
This doesn’t make all leaders racist or sexist, but what it does mean is that psychology has taught us that as humans, we subconsciously favour those who share our own key characteristics. This is the demographic that we, as humans, naturally associate ourselves with in a subconscious sense.
