A 54-year-old man jumped out of a popular Upper West Side restaurant’s freezer and started attacking employees with a knife.

The incident happened around brunch time at Sarabeth’s Restaurant on Amsterdam Avenue on West 80th Street.

According to Police, the staff say that they did not recognize the man who did not work at the restaurant, nor was he a former employee. Sarabeth’s staff told police that they had no clue how the man got himself into the freezer.
