A man and his fiancée were left stunned after they discovered something unusual in the lady’s childhood family photo taken at a beach in Montenegro.
Mirand Buzaku and Veronica Koliqi, both from Kosovo, recently got engaged at a resort in Turkey. The newly engaged couple, shortly after, made a discovery that can only match a coincidence in a movie scene or a fictional novel.
According to the story, Veronica’s cousin saw an old picture taken from 10 years ago in her computer and sent it over just for them to have fun with it and reminisce about their childhood.
In the photo, a group of kids can be seen posing for a photo shoot in a beach in Montenegro. In order to share the fun with her new fiancé, Veronica showed the photo to Mirand. But then, on a closer look, Mirand spotted a boy in the background lying on a float.
He thought the little boy looked like him, and the float as well looked familiar. Initially, both lovers could not believe the possibility of a coincidence even though every feature in the picture suited the guy’s memory of his childhood hang outs in water. Moreover, Veronica lived in London at the time while Mirand lived in Kosovo.
When Mirand’s family saw the photo, they confirmed they were at the same beach at the same time when the photo was taken. It happened that Veronica visited from London where she still lives while her fiancé came to the same spot with his family from Kosovo.
It was in summer of 2016 that their paths crossed again after Veronica visited Kosovo, her home country; now as an adult. Without knowledge of the earlier coincidence, the couple met and fell in love with each other after they bonded on social media.
