Julian Martinez Prison Interview

A jury found Julian Martinez guilty in the March 2016 killing Amanda Acosta in June. The 19-year-old murderer gave me an exclusive interview from behind prison walls. This case is still a highly emotional one for all involved. There are no winners here. Acosta had her whole life ahead of her but had it stolen by a killer's bullet. Martinez blew his chance to make better decisions for his life and chose street wisdom. I decided to do this post trial interview to see if his story had changed about the murder, if Martinez had learned any lessons from his crime and to end our series of interviews with him unless his appeal changes his incarceration.
