Donald Trump, the president of America on Wednesday warned NFL to change their rules of protests during the time of national anthem. He said, “In my opinion, the NFL has to change, or you know what's going to happen? Their business is going to go to hell." So it’s an open threat and criticism by the president against National Football League (NFL).

Before that on Friday Trump told that those players kneeled down during the anthem they should be fired by NFL. The sports media bursts with this comment and many believe president Trump is a racist. He is against players those are against racism. NFL player Colin also once mentioned Trump as a racist. LeBron James, the basketball player said, “Trump trying to use sport to divide us,”

NFL players protested against the president, almost 200 players preferred to kneel down during the anthem.

But on Monday Trump tweeted “The issue of kneeling has nothing to do with race. It is about respect for our Country, Flag, and National Anthem. NFL must respect this!” He refused to accept this issue as racism.

Roger Goodell, the commissioner of NFL replied to Trump, "Divisive comments like these demonstrate an unfortunate lack of respect."

Actually, the culture of the protests first started in 2016 by Colin Kaepernick, the NFL player. He first kneeled down during the anthem and other players followed him. Colin said, "I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color." "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way."

Since then NFL believes this is not just the protests, this is called unity which will help to bind his team together. NFL don’t take it as ‘Protests.’
