Coming off of a victory against No. 20 Virginia Tech in hostile Blacksburg territory last Monday, the Virginia Cavaliers, despite facing a 10-point halftime deficit, posted their second win against a ranked opponent on the road in a week, besting No. 18 Louisville on Saturday, 64-52.

Following his victory in last weekend’s three-point contest, Joe Harris has seen more of the spotlight than he ever has in his four-year professional career. The recent fame includes a feature in ESPN’s Zach Lowe’s latest opinion piece, in which Harris, who is called “perhaps the best story of perseverance and growth in the NBA over the past half-decade,” is the article’s first subject.

After struggling out of the gate in ACC play - losing seven of their first nine conference games - the UVA women’s basketball team has won three of their last five, including yesterday’s 53-45 Senior Day victory over Georgia Tech.

UVA women’s tennis (9-2, 3-1 ACC) defeated Virginia Tech yesterday afternoon, 6-1. With the win, the Cavaliers picked up another point in the Commonwealth Clash challenge.
