It’s been an hour since Caroline Flack officially stepped down from her role as presenter of Love Island following an assault charge, but fans are already speculating on who they’d like to replace her.
I’ve collated a few of the results, and we’ll see in a few weeks who’s right and who’s wrong.
Maya Jama
Maya seems to be the front runner online, and fans believe that considering she’s already helped out on Aftersun that she’ll be stepping in to Caroline’s seat as the main presenter of the show.
Alison Hammond
This Morning presenter Alison Hammond has also been in high request on social media, as she could inject a bit of humour and banter into the show.
Rylan Clark-Neal
Rylan has also been thrown into the ring as a potential wish for the public. People believe that he already has the skills to take over for the show after his Big Brother presenting gig.
Other names also include Ovie Soko, Maura Higgins and Amber Gill from last year’s show, as well as Chris and Kem from season three of Love Island.
Guess we’ll just have to wait until the official announcement to find out who will be filling in Caroline’s role following her standing down from the show.
