British roofing scammers wanted by Auckland Police thought to be in Wellington

Three British nationals wanted in connection with a series of roofing scams in Auckland are reportedly in Wellington.

James Anthony Nolan, 26, Tommy Ward, 26, and William Donohue, 25, are currently wanted by Auckland police.

Detective Senior Sergeant Bridget Doell, of Auckland, said police in Wellington had received several sightings of the men during the past week.

Police are appealing for information on the whereabouts of three men, Doell said.

"We remind the public to be cautious about suspicious approaches offering home maintenance work."

Anyone with information was asked to call Wellington Police on 04 381 2000 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
