Five people have been injured, two critically, after a large tree fell on them in high winds at the Shotover Jet headquarters in Queenstown.
Three helicopters, at least three ambulances and police are at the scene.
It's understood the fallen tree is next to a cafe and reservations building at the Shotover Jet base on Arthurs Pl.
A St John spokesman confirmed there were five patients, two in critical condition, one serious, and one moderate and one suffered minor injuries.

A police spokeswoman said reports came in around 1pm indicating that a tree had fallen onto people at the Arthurs Point Road location.
Shotover Jet general manager of marketing and communications Kirsty Phillips said they were "working through with the team at the moment, trying to ascertain everything that's happened.
"There's medical personal on site as well as police helping with the incident."
