Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made a shocking confession about Barcelona star Lionel Messi, according to report.
Guardiola once managed Messi during his spell with Barcelona and he has a good feeling for the Argentine forward as he claimed he makes coaches better.
Messi helped his team Barcelona scale through Atletico Madrid hurdle in the La Liga after he curled in a free-kick to give the Camp Nou outfit the edge to claim the three points.
"I have the perception that [Messi] has improved every coach who has managed him," Guardiola said to Directv Sport.
"He has the ability to make everyone around him better."
Regarding the World Cup this summer, the Catalan has said that he wants to see coaches be brave at the tournament.
"[The quality of the World Cup] will depend on how brave the coaches are," he said.
"If they think about attacking, it will be a good World Cup.
"When you get to the quarter-final or semi-final it will be more difficult, but there are some coaches who believe that the best way of not losing is to be positive."
