That’s the plan for Adobe Photoshop Camera, which promises to improve your camera game without needing to do much, if any, tweaking after the fact.

The app, which was originally announced back in November of last year, can add some filters and lens effects to your photos as you take them. It uses AI to intelligently adjust and fix some of your pictures, too, touching up small mistakes and correcting colors and white levels. Portrait control also looks like it’ll give you some granular settings over the strength and style of your portrait shots.
