Report: Joe Biden Mulls Naming Stacey Abrams as His Running Mate (Folks, It’s a Gimmick)

Report: Joe Biden mulls naming Stacey Abrams his running mate when he enters the 2020 presidential election. That would be a pathetic gimmick. It would be as though he setting himself up for a coronation from day one.

Being named as Biden’s running mate would be a terrible move for Stacey Abrams. It would seem as though she was being used as a convenient prop to deflect from Biden’s stumbles on desegregation, Anita Hill and the 1994 Crime Bill. She shouldn’t allow herself to be packaged, framed and used for political gain.

“The popular Georgia Democrat, who at age 45 is 31 years younger than Biden, would bring diversity and excitement to the ticket — showing voters, in the words of a close source, that Biden “isn’t just another old white guy,” Axios reports.

Abrams raised eyebrows recently when she said she won the Georgia’s gubernatorial race, but “just didn’t get to have the job.” She narrowly lost.
