The product from the Baltimore powerhouse DeMatha Catholic also held offers from programs close to home like Maryland, Rutgers and Virginia.
Booth sits as the No. 26-ranked recruit for the state of Maryland and the No. 78-ranked cornerback prospect in the nation per 247Sports composite.
Booth’s commitment makes him the second defensive back commitment in Tucker’s first class, joining 6-foot-4 Florida safety Gabe Nealy.
