Love can make people do incredible things, but one recent incident may be enough to make just about anyone say that things went “too far.” After discovering her boyfriend had spent the past two days at his ex-girlfriend’s house, his scorned lover enacted a punishment so brutal that it hurts to even read about it.
Bronwyn Joy Parker, 22, of Mount Barker in South Australia was a bit more than angry after learning of her boyfriend’s actions back in December 2013. According to police reports, she had learned that her significant other had spent two nights with his ex-girlfriend and wanted to ensure that it would never happen again.
Unfortunately for the man, what she had in mind would change his life forever.
Oddly enough, it seems as though her boyfriend gave Parker permission to burn his penis with a hair straightener in what could only be perceived as an attempt to ensure the two stay together after the purported infidelity. Despite the fact that most men would be one foot out the door at just the suggestion, apparently this man decided that Parker was worth the excruciating amount of pain he was about to experience.
Although Parker later explained to the courts that she figured the results would be the equivalent to a sunburn, she soon found out this wasn’t anywhere near the case. “To start off with, it looked brown around the outside and it didn’t look too bad, it just looked as if you had cooked a piece of meat,” she told police shortly after the incident.
“Describing the damage of his penis including blisters and discoloration, the victim admitted he was too embarrassed to seek medical treatment straight away,” Mail Online further reports.
Bronwyn was eventually arrested and pleaded guilty, which resulted in a suspended nine-month jail sentence upon entering an 18-month good behavior bond. At the time, District Court Judge Paul Muscat struggled to comprehend her actual intent, saying, “In short, his penis will be scarred for life and he will suffer from a number of issues, including the proper function of his penis, not to mention the cosmetic and psychological problems associated with the scarring to such a sensitive site.”
He then went on to point out, “You regularly abused him, including physically, if you suspected, or, if he admitted to being unfaithful to you. You were particularly jealous of his association with his ex-girlfriend.”
Words cannot describe the amount of agony this man must have been in after the actions of his psychotic girlfriend. My only question is, if he was so unhappy with his relationship that he felt the need to go back to a previous girlfriend and cheat on his current lover, then why agree to have the punishment carried out?
This guy should have listened to his gut and got out while the going was good.
