The body of the 11-year-old boy who disappeared last Saturday after throwing himself with a mat on the river Cabriel, near the municipality of Venta del Moro, which had started the fifth day of work for its location, has been found.

The body was found shortly after eleven o'clock in the morning by the members of the special group of underwater activities (GEAS) of the Civil Guard, just half a kilometer from where the advanced command post (PMA) was installed in the area. where initially it was thought that it had disappeared, next to a cañar.

The minor, who was part of a group, threw himself with a mat in the area of ​​return of the river Cabriel and his companions lost sight of him at around 7:00 pm on Saturday and gave notice of his disappearance.

The search device had resumed early today after finishing unsuccessfully yesterday, after exhaustively tracing twenty kilometers of the river, divided into three zones inspected each in a "millimeter" way.

The teams combed the entire terrain from the point where they were last seen to the municipality of Villatoya and a helicopter survey was made.

In today's search operation, a score of firefighters from the Provincial Consortium of Valencia, forest brigades and volunteers from Sagunto, specialists in surface water, participated.

Also today had joined the divers of firefighters of the City of Valencia and firefighters SPEIS Albacete, as well as members of the Red Cross.

In total, the search operation reached 75 people, fifty in tasks in the operational area and another twenty-five in logistics.
