According to a report from the Daily Mirror, Aston Villa transfer target and ex-loanee hero Tammy Abraham has rejected Chelsea’s latest contract offer – prompting Villa supporters to debate the merit over whether he could return to the Midlands.
Abraham, who played a massive part in helping Dean Smith’s side win Premier League promotion last campaign, scoring 26 Championship goals in 40 appearances, has been a prolific figure for Chelsea this season – netting 13 strikes in 23 top flight starts for the London side (WhoScored). However, as per this report from the Mirror, the Englishman has rejected Chelsea’s latest contract offer – with the youngster reportedly wanting ‘parity with the club’s other stars‘ before agreeing a new deal. The 22-year-old was a mainstay and crucial figure for the Villans last season, with many Villa fans wanting him to make a glorious return – meanwhile, other supporters think it is extremely unlikely given their club’s current league standings.
As a result, fans have become divided on Twitter, with fans either begging him to ‘come back to the Villa‘ whilst others concede there is ‘no chance‘. Find all of their best comments down below.

No chance of us getting him. Whether with Chelsea or elsewhere Tammy will be playing for a team with European football, rightly so.

That ship sailed, he helped us massively and will always always be welcome whatever shirt he wears but it’s unlikely ever to be a claret and blue top again.
