According to The Mirror, Real Madrid are preparing to make a summer swoop for Sadio Mané which could reach up to £140million.
Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez is reportedly looking to use the current La Liga suspension to work on strengthening the squad. Mané is a top target on the 73-year-old’s radar and the club will be looking to bid between a whopping £130-£140million to acquire the services of the winger.
Perez believes that Mané has accomplished ‘everything possible’ with Liverpool and is ready for a new challenge.
The 27-year-old joined the Reds in 2016 from Southampton and has become one of the club’s leading goal-scorers. He has scored 59 Premier League goals with Liverpool across his four seasons at Anfield (via Premier League). He also shared the Golden Boot accolade with Mohamed Salah last campaign.
The Senegalese wide-man has 18 goals and and 12 assists across all competitions so far this term (via Transfermarkt). His composure in front of goal would definitely benefit Real Madrid, but Liverpool fans aren’t having it.
One fan has told Real to ‘dream on’ while another has told them to ‘add another £100million’ to the reported offer that is in the works.
