Rangers
Many Rangers fans have reacted to a statistic posted by @ibroxrocks on Twitter which highlighted an alarming tendency from Steven Gerrard’s side to surrender points from winning positions since the mid-season break.
7 points chucked away from winning positions since break.
That’s just unprofessional.

Sunday’s 2-2 draw at St Johnstone was the latest setback for a Rangers team who now find themselves 12 points adrift of Premiership leaders Celtic, with Stevie May’s 80th-minute equaliser ensuring a share of the spoils at McDiarmid Park. Indeed, the ‘Gers have actually let eight points slip from winning positions so far in 2020 rather than the seven quoted by @ibroxrocks. They also took the lead in away matches against Hearts and Kilmarnock in recent weeks, only to lose 2-1 on both occasions.
To make things even more galling for those of an Ibrox persuasion, the Light Blues have shipped costly late goals in each of those games. Aside from May’s 80th-minute strike on Sunday, Liam Boyce got the winner for Hearts in the 83rd minute and both of Kilmarnock’s goals came in the final quarter-hour, with Eamonn Brophy netting an 88th-minute winner.
Unsurprisingly, these Rangers fans were incandescent upon reading the statistic about the recent habit of tossing away advantageous positions:
That’s just 100% correct. Away form since the break is an embarassment

Not just unprofessional, it’s incompetent & embarrassing.

8 points is it not..?? Losses at Killie n Hearts and 2 today. Ridiculous amount of points to simply let slip. Conceding too many goals now.

13pts out of a possible 24 since the break is a disgrace .

at what point do we question the manager? Yet again we could all see the starting line-up was wrong. That system is pointless on a pitch like that against a team stringing 6 along the back. WE NEVER LEARN.

I’m utterly sick of them
