Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have lacked sympathy for Christian Eriksen after reports from El Desmarque regarding him having doubts about his move were relaid in a post by The Spurs Web on Twitter.
The reports also suggested that Eriksen was debating with himself whether he should have held out for a move to Real Madrid or not, according to the post. The Danish international moved to Inter Milan in January after feeling that it was ‘necessary’ to leave Spurs according to the tweets relaid comments from El Desmarque.
Eriksen has since made eight appearances for Inter in all competitions but has only managed one goal and one assist according to Transfermarkt. He had previously scored three goals and provided three assists in 28 appearances in all competitions for the north London club earlier in the season.
Some Tottenham Hotspur fans lacked sympathy for their former ace, with one fan claiming that selling the 28-year old was ‘good riddance’ whilst another was ‘delighted at the news’. These were the least sympathetic responses:
Eriksen is having doubts about joining Inter Milan, and whether he should of held out for Real Madrid or not. He felt leaving Tottenham was necessary but expected something different out in Italy.
