A lot of West Ham United fans are praising manager David Moyes after he sent a fantastic message of support and encouragement to a young fan.
Young Hammers fan Isla is fighting a terminal illness and all involved in her story were delighted to see the Scotsman send over a video supporting her.
The manager might not always go down well with the West Ham faithful for his managerial decisions, but all were agreeing on Twitter that off the pitch he is a ‘genuine nice bloke’.
In his first managerial spell in charge of the club from November 2018 to May 2018, he managed nine wins, 10 draws and 12 losses, via Soccerbase. Currently since rejoining the East London side in December 2019, he has only managed three wins, two draws and seven losses, and this sees the club sit 16th in the Premier League table and only two points away from Aston Villa in 19th, via BBC Sport.
Despite the poor form, it is good to see fans praise him where it is due.
Here is what they had to say following the tweet:
Regardless of what you think of him as a manager, Moysey is a top bloke https://t.co/YxcMJXYViR

Hope he will keep us up first and then be backed properly to realise the vision of building a new young team with talented and hungry players

He’s the wrong manager but the right man. Proud that we have blokes like him associated with us
