How to lose weight: Drinking TWO glasses of this alcoholic tipple helps you burn fat

Many of us want to cut down our alcohol intake in preparation for summer.

But you don’t have to completely turn your back on booze to shed the pounds. In fact, scientists have suggested that two glasses of wine before bed could help you lose weight.

The studies from Washington State University and Harvard Medical School explain that there is a polyphenol called “resveratrol” in red wine that encourages weight loss.

This “resveratrol” converts white fat into “obesity-fighting” beige fat, which is much easier for the body to break down.

Studies have also suggested that the substance suppresses your appetite which helps to control your eating habits.

Not only does wine help with weight loss, drinking two a day can also improve brain health.
