Following Monday’s FBI raid on the home and office of President Trump’s personal attorney, Michael Cohen, a poll was released by Rasmussen. This particular poll found that American voters are becoming more and more suspicious of the “Trump/Russia collusion” investigation, and are starting to think that there was more to the motivations behind it’s inception.

President Trump’s insistence that the entire thing was a “witch hunt” may be proving to be true after all, and things aren’t looking so good for special counsel Robert Mueller and his investigation. Out of 1,000 likely voters who were polled, less than half of them believed that Robert Mueller’s investigation is characterized as an “honest attempt to determine wrongdoing,” Rasmussen found.

In the meantime, a much higher number of people polled feel that it is a “partisan witch hunt,” vs the amount of people who felt this way back in October when a similar survey was conducted.

Neither one of the polls makes the Democrats look good, and it’s definitely not doing any favors for the mainstream media’s attempts to try and impeach President Trump.

Rasmussen reported, “The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 46% of Likely U.S. Voters still believe Mueller’s investigation is an honest attempt to determine criminal wrongdoing, but that’s down from 52% last October. Forty percent (40%) now consider Mueller’s probe a partisan witch hunt, an eight-point increase from 32% in the earlier survey. Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided.”

Basically, what this means is that all of the hubbub about Monday’s New York raid, which was put into place by the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York, is not doing what it was originally intended to do.

Conservative Tribune reported:

Despite an incessant drumbeat of negative news and opinions about Trump, the percentage of Americans who believe the Mueller probe is the pursuit of justice has dropped considerably in the past six months.

By contrast, the percentage of those who think it’s politically motivated has increased by an even greater percentage.

In what could be even more galling for left, Trump’s performance in Rasmussen’s Daily Presidential Tracking Poll, the only poll measuring Trump’s approval rating on a daily basis, showed him at 50 percent approval on Friday, a number he’s rarely reached in his presidency.

The approval of half of the country doesn’t seem like the best news for Trump, but anyone who supports the President is well aware that Trump faces horrific opposition every single day.

The Daily Wire reported, “… (A)fter record lows in the polls for most of his first year in office, Trump saw significant improvement by December and for the entirety of 2018 has been polling around where President Obama polled at the same time during his presidency.”

Remember back to Obama’s presidency; at the same point in his first term, the left began treating him like a celebrity, and this continued all through his second term. Hell, to this day the left loves Obama.

Conservative Tribune wrote, “For a president to have the kind of personality cult Obama was surrounded by and still poll only 50 percent approval is a testament to the good sense of the American electorate. Voters who were disgusted by the passage of Obamacare and its signature in March 2010 saw right through the endless glorification of the media.”

It’s beginning to look like the FBI raid on Cohen’s office is going to backfire on Mueller in a big way, but only time will tell just how big.
