PIERREPONT — St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies on Thursday charged Richard P. Hayes, 68, of 46 Howardville Road, Canton, with felony fourth-degree grand larceny.
Deputies charge that on May 21 on Post Road, Mr. Hayes stole multiple firearms from a residence of which he was the landlord and tried to get rid of the firearms by throwing them over a bridge.
Mr. Hayes was issued a ticket returnable to Pierrepont Town Court.
