CANTON — St. Lawrence University freshman golfer William Hayden, who finished ninth at the Liberty League Tournament last weekend, was chosen as the Liberty League Men’s Golf Rookie of the Week.
He was the only area athlete to claim one of the weekly individual awards though several made the honor roll.
Clarkson’s honor roll athletes are Dom Pirro (baseball), Ryan St. Croix (men’s lacrosse), Ashley Flick (women’s lacrosse) and Jamie Bridge (softball)
SLU’s honor roll athletes are Conor Healey (men’s lacrosse), Kate Hurley (women’s lacrosse), Allie Courtwright (softball), Elle Gray (softball), Nick Crawford (men’s track and field), Will Merchant (men’s track and field), Leah Connors (women’s track and field) and Molly Lennon (women’s track and field).
