A group of 10th Mountain Division soldiers from Fort Drum deployed to Afghanistan paid tribute to their fathers for Father’s Day with a special video message.
The soldiers relayed advice they had received from their fathers when they were kids, long-running jokes and expressed thanks.
“You always told me to get out and get a J-O-B, I’m just wondering if this counts,” one soldier said.
The soldiers are currently serving in an advise and assist role with Afghan military and police personnel.
