BUFFALO — Luke Collins registered a hat trick by scoring St. Lawrence Central’s final three goals and the Larries went on to shut out the Beekmantown Eagles 6-0 Saturday in the state Division II hockey semifinals at Harbor Center in Buffalo.
St. Lawrence will face Section 1’s Pelham for the state title at noon Sunday at the same site.
St. Lawrence (21-2-1) scored a pair of goals in the first period with Beekmantown a man down due to a 4-minute major penalty assessed to Kade Collins. Andrew Lantry and John Sullivan each scored for the Larries during the man advantage.
The Larries added three goals in the second period, two from Collins and one from Jack Pullano.
