WATERTOWN — Watertown police on Saturday arrested a city man over an alleged purse-snatching incident last month.
Tyler L. Nasworthy, 21, of 17481 Route 11, Apt. 9S, was charged with third-degree robbery and petit larceny and taken to the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building, where he was held for arraignment.
Mr. Nasworthy was accused of stealing a purse from Makenzie N. Roberts, Watertown, on Feb. 24 at 214 S. Hamilton St. by pulling it away from her. The contents were worth an estimated $320, police said.
