Watertown man charged with second-degree criminal contempt

WATERTOWN — City police charged Ramsey K. Towles, 27, of 736 W. Main St., Apt. 4, with second-degree criminal contempt at 7:59 p.m. Friday at 515 Plum Ave.

Police said Mr. Towles violated a stay-away order of protection issued by city court when he went to the protected party’s house and knocked on the door.

Mr. Towles was held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment in City Court.
