LEXINGTON, S.C. (AP) - Sheriff's deputies in South Carolina have identified a man shot to death earlier this week, as well as a suspect.
Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon told local media outlets that 35-year-old Derrick James Jones of Lexington died while being taken to a hospital after the shooting late Tuesday afternoon.
Koon said deputies are looking for 22-year-old Jeremy Antonio Williams of Swansea. Koon said a warrant charges Williams with murder. The sheriff said Williams should be considered armed and dangerous.
Investigators have not released a motive in the shooting.
