Talks opened
Everton have opened talks with Barcelona over the signing of Andre Gomes. But Blues boss Marco Silva says the club still have work to do in order to convince the on-loan midfielder to stay at Goodison Park. Everton face competition from clubs at home and abroad to land Gomes this summer but Silva played down talk of the 25-year-old having agreed terms with Spurs.
Juventus waiting for Rabiot’s decision

Not gone yet
If PSG don’t renew his contract, Gianluigi Buffon is prepared to play on elsewhere, as long as they’re in the Champions League, it’s reported. The goalkeeper turned 41 in January and has impressed during his debut season in Ligue 1. After Coach Thomas Tuchel expressed frustration at the uncertainty caused by having dual first choice goalkeepers, Buffon and Alphonse Areola, rumors grew that Buffon would be let go this summer. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper, the Italy international has no intention of hanging up his gloves just yet.
