Is Cardi B in serious trouble?
The “Bodak Yellow” hitmaker posted a fairly controversial caption on Instagram earlier this week that got everybody talking.
In fact, she may have seriously angered one of the country’s biggest gangs.
According to the Los Angeles Crips — a West Coast street gang — the rapper shaded them after she posted a picture of herself in a blue fur coat.
“I hate wearing Flue but this coat was too poppin,” she said at the time, though the caption has been removed.
The Crips rival gang, the Bloods, reportedly uses the word “flue” when describing the Los Angeles crew.
According to TMZ, the 25-year-old’s comments were flooded with threats from the Crips.
“This will not be accepted. #DONTCOMETOLA,” one person wrote.
“Now why you go and do this f—k s—t Cardi,” another person wrote in the comments.
“This is literally West Coast Suicide...b—h betta get #neutral.” ⠀
She has since removed the comments, but this is getting very scary, especially since Cardi is scheduled to perform at the NBA All-Star Weekend in Los Angeles.
In fact, the Los Angeles nightclubs are preparing for possible gang violence and have hired extra security.
She is scheduled to make appearances at Murano, Penthouse, and Ace of Diamonds, and they’re all tripling their number of armed security.
