The Xbox One November update is rolling out now with newly added keyboard and mouse support catching most of the attention, but Microsoft also slipped in another, smaller launch for Xbox gamers. The Amazon Music app is launching today on Xbox One., allowing subscribers to stream their tunes on the console.
According to Microsoft, the app will only be available for people located in the U.S. at first, but a launch in other regions is "coming soon." The app gives Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers to access more than 50 million songs on their console, and Amazon Prime members can use the app to stream from a much smaller pool of around two million songs.
The Amazon Music app joins other streaming apps like Spotify and Pandora, both of which have been available for Xbox One for some time. Its console launch also comes following Amazon Music's launch on Windows 10 earlier this year.
If you're an Amazon Music subscriber, the app is available from the Microsoft Store on your console starting today.
