Speaking to the Daily Star Sunday, she said, "I have had men on the internet asking me out on a date.
"Twitter is full of very strange people.
"I wouldn't want to say the other things they message me!"
She admitted that the racy messages come as a shock at the age of 78.
Prue added, "I think women too often think as soon as builders stop whistling at them then they're too old and begin to believe they're undesirable...
"And that's not true!"
She also confessed that she gets bizarre job offers.
"I've had quite a few unusual job offers, some of which I wouldn't want to say.
"Mostly I get asked to present things.
"What I've really enjoyed doing is things like the Bake Off spin-off show An Extra Slice.
"I like the free-flowing comic chatter. I did Celebrity Pointless and I really loved that too."
